Privacy policy
This draft describes what the waitlist does today and nothing more. A lawyer should review it before the crowdfunding campaign launches.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you type it into a signup form.
- Which tier's form you used (Basic, Pro, Carbon, or a general form), and an optional finish preference, so we know what riders want.
- The time you signed up, and whether you confirmed your address.
- The page that sent you here (referrer) and any campaign parameters (UTM) in the link you followed.
Where it is stored
Signups are stored in a private Google Sheet and confirmation emails are sent through Google's Gmail service. Google processes that data on our behalf.
What we do with it
One thing: email you about Tron Talk. A confirmation link first, then the crowdfunding launch announcement and occasional development updates. We do not run advertising and we do not build a profile of you.
What we never do
- Sell, rent or share your address with anyone.
- Take payment details. This site does not accept money.
- Use Google Analytics or any cross-site tracking network. The site sets no tracking cookies. Your browser may remember your light or dark mode choice on your own device.
Your controls
Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link. To have your address deleted entirely, contact us at [contact email to be added before launch] and it will be removed from the list. The list can be exported, so it is not locked into any platform.
